LED Light Exchange

We are delighted to invite the Community to participate in a LED Holiday Light Exchange program. In conjunction with our Christmas tree lighting ceremonies we will be providing the opportunity to exchange two sets of old traditional holiday lights for a set of more efficient LED holiday lights. Community Christmas Party

December 10, 2011 Community Christmas Dinner from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Community Centre Santa from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Community Centre Photos to be taken by Peter Spence Photography o $2.00 for your child’s photo emailed to you. $5 for a copy of your child’s photo given to you before Christmas. Proceeds to the church. Tree Lighting at the Church from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. o Cake and hot chocolate and Christmas light exchange Church 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. o Graydon Nicholas will be here for Our Lady of Guadalupe during Mass Coordinator-Heather Knockwood- if you would like to volunteer with cooking, decorating etc., please send her a message or let me know & I will be sure to pass along the message, thank you! :)

Indian Brook Community Halloween Dance!

There will be a number of contests to enter into: --> Dance Contest, 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes --> Best Costume Contest, 1st, 2nd, 3rd --> Guess How Many Skulls, 1st prize only --> Spider Contest is only for ages 9-12 (all other contest are open to all age groups). 1st prize only You can pick up a spider format at the front desk of the band office Spider Requirements: •Spider MUST be passed in Monday October 24/11 to front desk of the Band Office •Spider will be judge that Thursday October 27/11, during the dance •Prefer spider to be colored or made with glow in the dark markers or glue as it will be judge under a black light. Spider contest is ONLY opened for 9-12 year olds. You can create your own spider but remember to have it passed in on Monday Oct 24/11 You must have your name and age on it DJ, Snacks, Refreshments, Candy Bag Give Away, Door Prizes, all provided. Volunteers are needed as well as judges! Please note: this is an alcohol & drug FREE dance!!!
