Welcome to the Shubenacadie First Nation

The Mi'kmaq First Nation Community of Indian Brook is part of the Shubenacadie Band.  Indian Brook is the second largest First Nation community in Nova Scotia.

Indian Brook is located 29 km south west of Truro.  1234.2 hectares.  Indian Brook is one of four settlements belonging to the Shubenacadie band.  Indian Brook is the largest land settlement of the Shubenacadie band.  Pennal, Shubenacadie, New Ross and Indian Brook make the Shubenacadie Band.  There are 2206 registered Shubenacadie Band members.
